Will I be able to set up a copper.net email account with email clients
other than Netscape and Outlook? I am considering Thunderbird or Eudora.

Yes you will be able to setup your Copper.net email with Thunderbird or Eudora. Instructions can be found on our website under the support tab: www.copper.net/support/support.aspx
