I just recently (as  fairly new customer) had experienced not being able to connect to the internet due to the dial up number being "bad" for my area.  After trying to figure this out, I was finally able to get a new dial up number.  However. I notice that my computer will allow for another number as an alternative, to be called...!?  SO..now my question.  Can I have more than one number at the same time in my dial up files to call, in case the one I have now in this area, is "bad" like the first one that I had?

Thank you for your post !!

Yes, if your dial up connection will allow you to add alternative numbers I would recommend doing so.
This will allow your computer to keep trying numbers until it finds a good number that it can connect to.
