Hello..I am a Cox DSL customer and am thinking of going back to a dial up service.  How fast are your downloads truly and how easy is your service to use.

Before you dump DSL, consider our option at http://www.copper.net/?Page=CopperDSL.asp.  Perhaps our offer is worth switching?

As far as the Copper.net dial up sevice is concerned, we provide a reliable 56K connection.   The speed at which you connect to the Internet is determined by a number of factors: the type and speed of your modem, the quality of the phone lines in your area, and the amount of traffic on the Internet. Because of all these factors, you should not expect your connection speed to be exactly the same as the speed listed for your modem.  It will be a change from DSL - but a much less expensive change!
