Email Tech Support - Windows Mail

1) Click on the Tools menu.

2) Select Accounts.

The Accounts window will appera.

3) In the Accounts window, select your Copper.net email configuration and click Properties. 

The Mail Account Properties window will appear.

4) Click on the Servers tab.

5) On the Servers tab, verify that all the server settings are correct:

My incoming server is: POP3
Incoming: mail.copper.net
Outgoing: mail.copper.net

Email username: the first part of your email address (before @).
Password: your copper.net password.
Remeber Password: checked.

My server requires auth:checked.


Click on the Settings button under Outgoing Mail Server.


NOTE:  FOR ALL OTHER DIAL-UP COMPANIES, THE USERNAME NEEDS TO BE THE FULL EMAIL ADDRESS (EXAMPLE@COMPANY.COM).

6) In the Outgoing Mail Server window, verify that "Use same settings as my incoming mail server" is selected.
